Carnegie Conference Center Directions
NOTE: The Carnegie Conference Center is on the 2nd floor the old Penn Can Mall Shopping Center. FROM THE NORTH: Route 81 South past Cicero to 481 North Exit. Exit at E. Circle Drive, take right. Turn left on Hogan Road (traffic light at McDonalds) then right into Drivers Village. You can also stay on E. Circle Drive and enter Drivers Village once you pass Burlington Coat Factory (entrance on left). Follow the loop road to designated Conference Center Parking. Enter through the “RED” Mall entrance. FROM THE SOUTH: Route 81 North, approximately 5 miled north of Syracuse to 481 North exit. Exit at E. Circle Drive, take right. Turn left on Hogan Road (traffic light at McDonalds) then right into Drivers Village. You can also stay on E. Circle Drive and enter Drivers Village once you pass Burlington Coat Factory (entrance on left). Floowo the loop road to designated Conference Center Parking. Enter through the “RED” Mall entrance. FROM THE EAST: NYS Thruway west to exit 34A. then take Route 81 North to the East Circle Drive exit; take right. Turn left on Hogan Road (traffic light at McDonalds) then right into Drivers Village. You can also stay on E. Circle Drive and enter Drivers Village once you pass Burlington Coat Factory (entrance on left). Floowo the loop road to designated Conference Center Parking. Enter through the “RED” Mall entrance. FROM THE WEST: NYS Thruway east to exit 36. Then take Route 81 North, approximately 5 miled north of Syracuse to 481 North exit. Exit at E. Circle Drive, take right. Turn left on Hogan Road (traffic light at McDonalds) then right into Drivers Village. You can also stay on E. Circle Drive and enter Drivers Village once you pass Burlington Coat Factory (entrance on left). Follow the loop road to designated Conference Center Parking. Enter through the “RED” Mall entrance. LOCAL DIRECTIONS: If you are traveling from the northern suburbs (North Syracuse, Liverpool, Cicero, Mattydale, etc.) you can take Route 11 or South Bay Road to the site of the former Penn-Can Mall. Drivers village is just off East Circle Drive which connects both Route 11 and South Bay Road. Follow the loop road to designated Conference Center Parking. Enter through the “RED” Mall entrance. |
Addendum Directions:
The directions to the left will get you to the place, but below is a layperson's directions.
1. The Conference Center is surrounded by car dealerships which can be confusing regarding parking.
2. Once you are in the mall, the directions to the Conference Center are very clear and we will have our own signage posted throughout.
3. We recommend parking in the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot and walking across to the mall. This would mean you would be entering the mall through the entrance with the GREEN PILLARS.
4. Once in, you will soon see escalators. Take the escalators to the second floor and you will quickly see our REGISTRATION DESK immediately outside the CONFERENCE CENTER entryway.
